Workshop on AI in maritime transport
Partner universities and industry representatives joined a workshop to discuss how artificial intelligence, automation and data analytics are transforming maritime transport and what this means for education and training.

Start of the curriculum modernisation phase
Within WP2, universities began analysing existing programmes and designing updated courses that embed AI, sustainability and digital skills for future maritime professionals.

Design of online professional courses and VR exercises
Under WP3, the partners worked on the first versions of online professional courses and VR-based training scenarios. These will be piloted with students and professionals in the following months.

Dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities
The consortium organised information sessions, presentations and online campaigns to promote SMarTAI, share early results and invite stakeholders to get involved in upcoming activities.
